The Arbor GT Series is the perfect series for anyone out there looking for the perfect cruiser. The board comes in 3 different models perfect for any kind of riding situation.
The Arbor Axis GT is the first in the lineup. The Axis is a drop-through cruiser, designed to give you the feeling of riding a snowboard. This board is low to the ground giving you a really stable push, while the camber of this board makes it so that you have a really snappy and flexy ride. The Axis GT is also perfect to throw around dance moves since it’s completely symmetrical. Dancing, cruising, and carving: it’s all easy and comfortable on the Axis GT.
Next up is the Arbor Fish GT and the Arbor Timeless GT. The little and big brother of the series, the Fish GT and the Timeless GT are classic pintail shapes that are perfect for beachside cruises and scenic city runs. Because they’re top mounted, you’ll get a lot more leverage over your trucks so that you can get some really hard carves out of your setup. They’ll be perfect for sharp corners, and really deep carves. The Fish is the shorter of the two, making it more nimble and agile for riding around town. The Timeless, being the larger of the two, will be better for long sweeping turns and wide carves. No matter the type of cruiser you’re looking for, the Arbor GT series is sure to have something to fit your style perfectly.
Arbor is doing something special this year and making sure you get the best of the best from not only their decks, but wheels as well.
This year Arbor started something called the Sucrose Initiative. The Sucrose Initiative is their whole new lineup in wheels that pair up perfectly with any style of deck you may be riding. First is the Arbor Bogart. It’s a 61mm tall wheel that pairs up perfectly with the new and improved Arbor Shakedowns. Being a small wheel they’re awesome for cruising around and getting from place to place. But because of the Sucrose urethane, they are perfect for freeriding as well. So not only can you cruise on the Shakedown, you can get gnarly on them as well.
Next in the lineup is the Arbor Mosh. We love this wheel on the Arbor Bug. Perfect for cruising around and getting better roll speeds while also a quick acceleration while pushing. This is an awesome wheel, especially for tight downtown city shredding.
Lastly we have the all new Arbor Vice and the Arbor Summit wheels. Both of these wheels we would slap onto the all new Arbor Backlash 37. When you want to get your freeriding on and get sideways like none other, the Arbor Vice is the perfect ride for such a thing. And when you’re looking to downhill and reach maximum speed, the Arbor Summit is perfect for you. It’ll help you take the inside line as well as give you maximum exit speed out of your predrifts. You are wondering why both of those wheels are good for one board? Because the Backlash 37 is that great of a setup! Ready to rip both styles!
Check out the Arbor Prodigy! I jacked this pic from James Kelly's facebook.
I don’t know how many of you guys warmed up to Arbor since they up’ed their downhill and freeride program but first thing I did was set up a Vugenhausen and go shreddin’ with it. Obviously you can see that this new micro-dropped deck, called The Prodigy, has some striking resemblances with the Vugenhausen. Also check out those pockets in the concave! Very sharp angles and man do they look amazing! They will no doubt be great for getting leverage in slides and cornering.
Heres what we know about The Prodigy so far. Get ready to get stoked!
It has 7 wooden plys and 4 fiberglass plys.
It is 38 inches long and 9.85 inches wide with a 30 inch wheelbase.
With the team that Arbor has (James Kelly, Kody Noble, Jimmy Riha) I personally find it kind of hard to hate on them. I was mind blown the first time I rode the Vugenhausen and to this day it is still a happy family member in my quiver. Also, I am not sure but that also looks like a new graphic for The Assault! Get your cruise and carve on!

A symmetrical shape and more functional nose/tail profile offer highly versatile stance and switch options, while a cambered design delivers a medium flex for improved rail-to-rail reaction time and riding surface management.
